PDP Condemns APC’s Violent Brawl in Gombe

Kano, Alhaji Abubakar Shamsuddeen, PDP National Chairmanship Aspirant, has strongly condemned the All Progressives Congress (APC) over a recent brawl that disrupted the party’s North-East Consultative Meeting in Gombe State. 

This incident has sparked widespread reactions, exposing deep-seated mistrust among key political actors in the region.

Shamsuddeen emphasized the PDP’s commitment to peaceful and issue-based politics, urging the APC to refrain from activities that encourage violence. 

He accused certain APC leaders of escalating tensions through reckless statements and actions.

Concerns Over APC’s Actions

The Chairmanship Aspirant is concerned that the APC’s violent nature could influence the general election and public perception of violence in politics. 

Shamsuddeen is optimistic that the APC’s disarray could benefit the opposition.

The Aspirant reaffirmed  commitment to non-violence, focusing on addressing Nigerians’ challenges. 

This stance comes amid growing concerns over political tensions ahead of the 2027 general elections.
