Pilgrims Offer Special Prayers for Gov. Yusuf, Tinubu in Saudi Arabia

MAKKAH, Nigerian pilgrims in Makkah have offered special prayers for Kano State Gov.Abba Yusuf, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the nation.

Leading the prayer session at the Munna camp, Islamic cleric Ustaz Ya’u Dodo described Governor Yusuf as a leader worthy of support and prayers.

“A leader like Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, with his humility, love for the people and commitment to the development of the state, deserves the support and prayers of the people,” he said.

Ustaz Dodo urged pilgrims to intensify prayers for Allah’s guidance, protection and support for the governor ahead of the forthcoming elections.

He also prayed for President Tinubu, asking Allah to guide him in leading the country towards peace, economic stability and national progress.

Another cleric, Malam Ali Dan Abba, led a separate prayer session for Governor Yusuf, the people of Kano State and Nigeria.

Malam Dan Abba prayed for Allah to grant the governor wisdom, strength and good health in the discharge of his responsibilities, noting that leadership was a trust that required divine guidance and protection.

He prayed for peace and unity among the people of Kano State and urged citizens to support one another irrespective of political, ethnic or social differences.

According to him, sustainable development could only be achieved in an atmosphere of harmony, mutual understanding and fear of Allah.

The cleric also prayed for Nigeria to overcome economic hardship, insecurity and political tension, and appealed to leaders at all levels to govern with justice, sincerity and compassion.

Some pilgrims who spoke after the session expressed optimism that Allah would answer their prayers and grant Kano State and Nigeria leaders committed to the wellbeing of the people.

The atmosphere at the Munna camp remained spiritually uplifting throughout the day as pilgrims engaged in worship, recitation of the Holy Qur’an and prayers for their families, leaders and the nation.
