Waiya Congratulates NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel’s New Leadership

Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has congratulated the newly inaugurated executive members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Correspondents’ Chapel, Kano State chapter.

This is contained in a statement issued by Director Information Abba Yola in Kano on Thursday 

Waiya praised the new leadership, led by Comrade Murtala Adewale, for their emergence through a peaceful and democratic process.

 He acknowledged the Correspondents’ Chapel’s role in shaping public discourse and projecting government policies.

Waiya urged members to maintain accuracy, objectivity, and fairness in their reporting.

Waiya reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to collaborating with the media on capacity building and professional development for journalists.

He expressed confidence that the bond between the Ministry and the Correspondents’ Chapel will strengthen under the new leadership.
