Emir of Karaye tasks Hajj officials on piety, dedication

Makkah ( Saudi Arabia), The Emir of Karaye, Dr Muhammad Mahraz, who heads the  2025 Kano State Hajj delegation, has tasked the members of  the Pilgrims Welfare Agency’s subcommittees to exhibit high level of maturity and responsibility in guiding pilgrims during their stay in the Holy land.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that the emir spoke on Monday while addressing them in Makkah,Saudi Arabia, on Monday.

He emphasised that by doing so, pilgrims from the state would be able to perform the Hajj rituals smoothly.

 “I urge all these officials to dedicate themselves to their assignments and ensure a smooth Hajj experience for all the pilgrims.

” We must discharge our duties with fear of God. I also task the clerics and our Hisbah commission members to conduct intensive sensitisation programmes for the pilgrims on Hajj rituals and etiquettes.

-“Let’s work together diligently for a successful Hajj. Through joint efforts, dedication, and fear of God, we will ensure our success.

“Let’s collaborate to thoroughly brief the pilgrims on the Hajj rituals, procedures, and etiquettes, ensuring they are well-prepared for a successful and meaningful experience.

 “Local government officials, please provide thorough guidance to our pilgrims to ensure a successful Hajj,” Mahraz urged.

Speaking earlier  the Director-General of the agency, Alhaji Rabi’u Danbappa, announced that 3,345 pilgrims had successfully been transported to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

He added that the agency had secured decent accommodations in Makkah and efficient arrangements  were made for the transportation service.

Danbappa warned the pilgrims against roaming the Holy city without their Nusuk permits, saying, “they are  mandatory digital authorisations required for entry into the holy sites and participation in the 2025 Hajj.

He said, “Possessing the permit is a strict requirement by the Saudi authorities and it is not an option.

“The pilgrims are urged to adhere to official guidelines and follow due process throughout the pilgrimage.

“Our duty is to ensure the safety and spiritual wellbeing of every pilgrim, achievable only through discipline and compliance.”

According to the director-general, the Nusuk permits are compulsory and any deviation may disrupt the Hajj experience.

Danbappa said, “Strict adherence to guidelines and possession of Nusuk permits are mandatory for thr pilgrims’ safety and spiritual well-being.

“With well-coordinated efforts, we are confident of a successful pilgrimage experience for our pilgrims.

“Our coordinated approach will ensure a smooth and successful Hajj journey for all the pilgrims.

“We are set for the successful conduct of our pilgrims through well coordinated approaches,” he said .
