Donation

Kano, The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Usaini Gumel has commended Prof. Adamu Gwarzo for donating two operational vehicles to the Police.
Gwarzo, Founder and President MAAUN Group of Universities, donated thr vehicles to Hotoro Police Divisional office, Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.
Gumel made the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to Gwarzo and Chairman, Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo (AAG) Foundation on Friday in Kano.
The commissioner said that the gesture was a morale booster that would go a long way in improving the operational efficiency, and capacity of the police
in the Hotoro area and beyond.
Gumel assured that the vehicles would be judiciously utilised and properly maintained in order to achieve the desired objective.
He, however, called on other well to do individuals in the society to borrow a leaf from Gwarzo in providing logistics support to police.
Responding, Gwarzo expressed his sincere appreciation to the Police commissioner for acknowledging the contribution.
He pledged to continue to collaborate with the Police to enhance security within the area in particular and the state at large.
