Niger Gov. Swears – In New SSG, HOS, COS and Others

Niger state governor, Mohammed Umar Bago has sworn in new Secretary to the State Government SSG, Head of Service HOS, Chief of Staff COS and other after careful study, review of their capacity, integrity and ability to work for the state.

The governor made the declaration shortly after their swearing in of the appointees by the Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik represented by Justice Hassana Bawa Wuse at government house Minna, saying that this is government of the youth.

Bago stated that they are his choices and charged them not to be found wanting but to justify the confidence reposed in them by working boldly and assiduously for the growth and development of Niger state.

He urged his supporters to be patient and perseverance as his government will do everything possible to ensure the fulfilment of their campaign promises to the citizens, noted that the next 5 appointments will be all female gender for inclusiveness.

Bago reiterated the commitment of his administration to ensure the those Communities ravaged by the insecurity due to the activities of the bandits will soon be a thing of the past while he congratulated them as the new grooms of the state.

In his remarks, the newly sworn in SSG, Alhaji Abubakar Usman Gawu pledged their commitment, loyalty and full support for the success of the present administration in achieving its numerous objectives.

He appreciated the governor for the trust and confidence reposed in them hence the assurance to justify the confidence while he called for prayers and support for the government laudable programmes.

Others sworn in include; Engr. Abubakar Salisu as HOS, Hon. Usman Abdullahi Batamangi COS, Sadiq Yusuf deputy COS and Bello Ibrahim as deputy Chief of Staff to the deputy governor respectively
