Kano Police Commissioner Meets with Minority Traditional Leaders to Promote Peace,

Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo on Wednesday met with minority traditional leaders in Kano, including the Eze of the Igbo, Kabesi, and the leader of the Edo community, among others. 

He urged them to encourage their communities to embrace peace and harmony, emphasizing that the current situation in Kano requires collective efforts to maintain tranquility. 

CP Dogo assured that the police are committed to ensuring peace and stability in all parts of the state. He requested the traditional leaders to utilize their influence to calm the people and discourage them from engaging in any activities that might compromise public safety.

In response, the Eze, Mr. Boniface, pledged their full support and cooperation. 

He revealed that the traditional institutions have already initiated meetings with their communities to emphasize the importance of continuous peace. 

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to collaborate in maintaining peace and order in Kano.
