2027: The Year We Take Back Kano”Ganduje

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has called for unity among its members, ahead of the 2027 elections. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, made this call during a dinner forum held in honor of APC members of the Kano State House of Assembly.
Ganduje represented by Prince Abdullahi Abbas emphasized the importance of unity, stating that it’s the only way for the party to achieve its goals.
Ganduje spoke at a dinner organize by the 8th and 9th APC members Kano State House of Assembly.
The Dinner in honour of Rt Hon Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, Rt Hon Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, Rt Hon Yusuf Abdullahi Atta, Labaran Abdul Madari, Ayuba Labaran Durum, Babangida Alasan Yakudima and Baffa Babba Danagundi.
He said, “unity is the only way out for us, it’s the only option we have to get what we want. God has already intervene in our situation, the current government is already distorting the state, we are just waiting for time. The next election will be a thing of shifting a hen from its eggs.
“I always get surprised when Rabiu Kwankwaso said he is the one who has people, I can swalear to god if not of our issues that some of us went away he wouldn’t have won any election in Kano and he will see this time around.
He will understand that those that helped him are already disappointed and regretting.
We have devised and set in motion a robust political framework designed to secure victories in all elective positions come 2027.”
He expressed confidence that the party would reclaim power from the incumbent New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) administration, saying “the next election will be a thing of shifting a hen from its eggs.”
The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, also spoke at the event, highlighting the need for unity and praising the President for prioritizing Kano State in his development initiatives.
Ata mentioned that the President had allocated 500 housing units to Kano State, whereas other states received only 250 units.
The event was attended by several notable APC members, including Rt. Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, Rt. Hon. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, and Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Atta.
The Chairman of the Forum, Abdul’azeez Garba Gafasa, expressed gratitude for the unity among forum members and praised the leaders for bringing everyone together.
As the 2027 elections approach, the APC in Kano State is expected to face significant challenges, including internal crises and competition from other parties .
However, with a united front, the party may be able to overcome these obstacles and achieve its goals.
“We have set in motion a political mechanism that will pave the way for electorates to massively vote for our candidates in the 2027 general elections.
” Kano State is the home of Progressives, and we have devised a political strategy that will ensure the victory of our party in the next general elections.
” We will continue to mobilize our numerous supporters on the need to safeguard their permanent voter’s cards to support our candidates in the 2027 general elections.”
