Resumption

The Kano State Government has announced the resumption dates for the 2024/2025 second term academic session.
Boarding public and private primary and post-primary schools will resume on Sunday, January 5, 2025, while day schools across the state will open on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Parents and guardians are advised to take note of the resumption dates to ensure total compliance.
The government warns that disciplinary action will be taken against defaulting students and pupils.
According to the state Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, the government is committed to providing quality education in the state.
“Kano State Government will do everything possible to create a conducive learning environment that inspires and empowers students to excel academically.”
The commissioner wishes teachers, students, and pupils a successful commencement of the 2nd term academic session, stressing that routine monitoring exercises will continue to ensure staff punctuality and efficiency
