As part of the ongoing efforts to develop rural communities, Kano State Gov Abba Yusuf of Kano State on Saturday, launched the construction of a 5-kilometer road project in Kunchi town, Ghari Local Government Area.
The project was initiated during Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s second tenure but was abandoned by the previous administration.
Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude to the local community for their patience and cooperation.
During the flag-off ceremony, Governor Yusuf instructed the contractor to mobilize to the site within one week, warning that failure to do so would result in contract termination.
Prior to the ceremony, the Governor commissioned a township road in Yandadi town and inspected the Kano State College of Education and Preliminary Studies in Ghari.
Governor Yusuf assured the public of the state government’s commitment to providing necessary infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted academic activities at the College.
