Kano, Oct. 28, 2026 , Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended his heartfelt condolences to his Special Assistant on GSM Market, Bello Jadda Sharifai, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Zahra Sharif Lawan.
The Governor described the death as a painful loss, noting that the passing of a mother is a difficult moment for any family, given the important role mothers play in nurturing their children and supporting their families.
Yusuf extended his sympathy to Sharifai, the immediate family of the deceased and other relatives, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the strength, patience and fortitude to bear the loss.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Hajiya Zahra Sharif Lawan, accept her good deeds and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Governor also urged the bereaved family to take solace in the will of Almighty Allah, stressing the importance of faith and patience during moments of grief.
He further prayed that Allah comforts the family and all those affected by the demise, while granting the deceased eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
