NSCDC Accuses of Killing 28Year (Naziru) in Minna

Niger state command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC, have reportedly shot to death a 28 years old Naziru Abubakar at Brighter School area in Minna, Chanchaga Local Council of Niger state.
The incident was said to occurred around eleven to twelve midnight of Monday where four of the corps personnel in their Hilux vehicle on patrol to the area.
Our reporter gathered that about five youths who were sitting outside sighted their vehicle run into the house of one Yanga Buba on hearing the movement the victim who was reciting the Holy Quran came out to see what was going on however he was shot on the head and died instantly.
Reports further revealed that the area was known for crimes in recent term in which the criminals were involved in cell phones snatching, house breaking and bugle, attacking of residence in their houses and disposed them of belongings given them sleepless nights.
It was gathered that the youths in the area are planning to bring the corpse of the slim Naziru Abubakar to the NSCDC office in protest on why he was killed by their men, hence the case has been reported at the Chanchaga Police station for investigation and further action on the matter.
When contacted the command, Public Relations Officer PRO, DSC Nasir Abdullahi denied the report as rumor and should be disregard, adding that the command is yet to receive any report to that effect and if they do he will get back to us.
