Photo News: On 20th January 2025, the President of Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), Wife of the Inspector-General of Police, (Dr.) Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun commissioned POWA Kano State Chapter Secretariat, consisting of skills acquisition centers. The secretariat aims to empower police families through vocational training and skills development. In addition, Mrs. Egbetokun also commissioned a Borehole at Bompai Police Barracks, providing a reliable source of clean water for police personnel and their families. A Hospital built by a philanthropist at No. 52 PMF Challawa, Kano was also commissioned. The hospital will provide medical care and services to police personnel, their families, and the surrounding community. The Kano State Police Command commends the POWA President for her efforts in improving the welfare of police families in Kano State.
