The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the final Hajj fare for the 2026 pilgrimage. Following the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) directive, the approved fare is ₦8,244,813.67.
The Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, stated that pilgrims who have already paid ₦8.5 million will be eligible for a refund of ₦255,186.33 upon submitting a written request.
New pilgrims are required to pay the full amount of ₦8,244,813.67.
The deadline for payment is December 31, 2025, as directed by NAHCON.
The Director General urged intending pilgrims to complete their payments before the deadline to secure their Hajj slots [1].
