Makka, Lawan Muhd Kiru, a local newspaper vendor, has expressed heartfelt gratitude after receiving a free Hajj seat, courtesy of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State.

Kiru’s story began nearly three decades ago when the Governor, then a newspaper buyer in Abuja, interacted with him.

The encounter left a lasting impression, and years later, Kiru’s story reached the Governor through a mutual acquaintance. Moved by Kiru’s story, Governor Yusuf personally offered him a fully sponsored Hajj seat.

“This is a dream come true for me,” Kiru said. “I’m deeply grateful to His Excellency for this life-changing opportunity.

This gesture highlights the Governor’s commitment to the welfare and spiritual development of Kano State’s people.”

The Hajj pilgrimage holds profound significance for Muslims, and Kiru’s experience showcases the power of empathy, leadership, and meaningful human connections.
