The Chairman of Kano Proper has pledged to closely monitor projects across the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State to ensure transparency, accountability, and quality delivery.
This commitment follows the recent approval of projects by His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, empowering councilors to execute projects worth 10 million naira, to spearhead developmental initiatives at the grassroots level.
Speaking on the matter, the Chairman stated that the oversight exercise is aimed at guaranteeing that public funds are properly channeled, projects are executed to standard, and citizens derive maximum benefits from government interventions.
He further urged residents of Kano to remain vigilant and report any irregularities noticed during the execution of the projects, stressing that collective participation is vital in driving good governance and sustainable development.
