Kano Police Commissioner Urges Newly Promoted Officers to Demonstrate Integrity

The Kano State Police Command has decorated 272 newly promoted officers, charging them to live above board and demonstrate patriotism, dedication, and commitment to service. 

Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo emphasized that new ranks come with increased responsibilities, expecting the officers to discharge their duties with careful regard to individual rights and property protection.

CP Dogo reminded the officers that their new positions bring higher expectations, urging them to be committed to their duties with the fear of God. 

The promotions include, 4 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) to Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACs)*, a first-of-its-kind achievement.

” 50 Superintendents of Police (SPs) to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs)

“32 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) to Superintendents of Police (SPs)

“182 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) to Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs)

CP Dogo concluded by praying that the promotions would not be the last for the officers, and family members of the promoted officers were in attendance to celebrate their achievements
