New AIG Zone 1 Urges Kano Police to Stay Vigilant and Proactive

The newly appointed Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 1, Ari Mohammad Ali, has charged officers and men of the Kano Command to remain vigilant and proactive in ensuring the security of lives and properties.

During his familiarization tour at the police headquarters in Bompai, Kano, AIG Ali emphasized the need for modern policing strategies to combat crime and corruption. He stressed:

AIG Ali also urged the Kano police command to ensure synergy with other security agencies to achieve absolute security.

Commissioner of Police Kano, Salman Dogo Garba, highlighted the command’s successes, including the arrest of suspected armed robbers and recovery of stolen items. 

However, he noted challenges such as shortage of vehicles for patrols

and Manpower shortage.

The AIG’s visit aims to boost morale and enhance security operations in Kano State.
