Kano, Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has congratulated former Deputy Governor and State Coordinator of Arewa For Asiwaju, A4A, in Kano, Abdullahi Gwarzo, on his 66th birthday.
Yusuf, in a statement by his spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Tuesday in Kano, described Gwarzo as an experienced leader, mentor and grassroots politician whose years of service have contributed significantly to the political and social development of Kano.
The governor acknowledged his wealth of experience, generosity, tolerance and ability to build relationships across different sections of society, describing the qualities as valuable attributes of responsible leadership.
He also congratulated Gwarzo on his recent appointment as State Coordinator of Arewa For Asiwaju in Kano, expressing confidence that his experience, maturity and grassroots acceptability would contribute to effective coordination and purposeful engagement in the new assignment.
Yusuf prayed Almighty Allah to grant Gwarzo many years in good health, wisdom, peace of mind and renewed strength to continue contributing to the development of Kano and the nation.
He wished him a happy 66th birthday and continued success in his future endeavours.
