President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Kano State of sustained Federal Government support following Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Vice President Kashim Shettima delivered the message, urging party leaders to unite and prepare for the 2027 elections, emphasizing cohesion as key to victory.
Tinubu commended former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for supporting Yusuf’s emergence as APC leader in Kano, boosting the party’s strength.
Governor Yusuf cited the need for political alignment to drive development as reason for joining APC, alongside cabinet members, lawmakers, and supporters.
