Kano, Oct. 26, 2026 , Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Director-General of Protocol, Kano Government House, Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo, over the passing of his uncle, Dayyabu Dandikko Rogo, former Surveyor-General of Kano State.
The Governor described the death as a painful loss, noting that the passing of a loved one is always a difficult moment for the family and all those who shared meaningful relationships with the deceased.
Yusuf extended his sympathy to Rogo and the entire bereaved family, urging them to take solace in Almighty Allah’s decree and remain steadfast in faith during this period of grief.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and make his grave a place of peace and mercy.
The Governor further prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Rogo, his family, relatives and associates the patience, strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He reaffirmed his solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty Allah would comfort them and grant them the grace to overcome this difficult period.
