Kano, Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has congratulated the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 66th birthday.
This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Monday in Kano.
Yusuf described Sen. Oluremi Tinubu as a compassionate and dedicated leader whose contributions continue to complement the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
The governor, on behalf of himself, the first family, government and the good people of Kano State, extended warm felicitations and best wishes to Sen. Oluremi Tinubu as she marks another year.
He commended the first lady for her commitment to initiatives focused on improving the welfare of women, children, vulnerable persons and other Nigerians.
The governor particularly acknowledged her efforts in promoting education, healthcare, social development and economic empowerment, as well as programmes aimed at providing opportunities and improving the quality of life of Nigerians.
He prayed to Almighty God to grant Sen. Oluremi Tinubu continued good health, wisdom and strength to sustain her service to the nation and humanity.
He wished the first lady many more years of fruitful service, peace, fulfilment and happiness.
Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, born on Sept. 21, 1960, is marking her 66th birthday.
