NSSF confirms qualifications of GGSS, Yola, throw out GGMC. Doma protest in Savannah Conference Nestle Milo basketball

The organisers if the ongoing Savannah Conference Nestle Milo basketball championship, Nigerian School Sports Federation NSSF has throwed out a protest lodged by Government Girls Mega College, Doma, Gombe state.

It would be recalled that the Gombe side lodged a protest against against Government Girls Secondary school, Yola, Adamawa state for fielded ineligible players in the semi final of the tournament.

But in it marathon meeting held at the venue of the competition, the NSSF official and other key stakeholders said that the protest lack merit an reaffirmed the qualifications of Adamawa side.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the meeting, the federation’ public relations officer, Sagir Sani said they decided to rule in favour of Adamawa based on evidence on the ground, warning the remaining teams to stop fielded a protest on hearsays.

Meanwhile, Ahmadiyya College will lock horns with Government girls secondary school, Yola, Adamawa state in the final of the girls category while Ahmadiyya College basketball will also play with Government secondary school, Numan, Adamawa in boys category by 10am on Thursday at the same venue..
