Kano State Head of Service Tasks Registry Staff on Effective Record-Keeping

Kano, The Kano State Head of Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, has charged staff of the Registry Department in the Ministry of Information to enhance their productivity and maintain accurate records.

Speaking at a two-day capacity-building workshop, Musa emphasized the critical role of proper record-keeping in achieving the ministry’s goals.

He announced plans to augment staff strength and take disciplinary action against underperforming staff. 

The Head of Service commended the Ministry for organizing the workshop, aimed at equipping staff with skills for proper record-keeping.

Earlier, Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Haliru Danteye, acknowledged lapses in record-keeping and urged staff to take their responsibilities seriously. 

He stressed the importance of valuing time, having a challenging attitude, and obeying rules and regulations.

Directors were also urged to monitor activities in their departments to ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations. 

The workshop aims to enable staff to discharge their primary responsibilities effectively and set a good example for others to follow.
