Kano,Nov.20,2023( NAN) A mammoth supporters of Kano state Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf,troop out to welcome back the Governor, after Appeal court that sacked him again.
Even women in purdah, back their children and came out enmase ,to showed their support and unflinching support for him
Yusuf and his deputy governor Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo,who went round the state capital alongside other state executive were welcomed on the streets, with prayer that the Supreme court should affirmed him as elected Governor.
When governor Yusuf ‘ s vehicle passed through the popular market, Kwanti- Kwari,large numbers of his supporters ,in their joyful mood ,prevented him from passing ,in their attempt to show their loyalty for him.
Right from Kwanti- Kwari,to the Emir of Kano palace ,people were trooping out like bees ,struggling to catch his glimpse look at the Governor Yusuf.
The people who were disturbed ,by showing their unalloyed support for him,were seen saying ” Sai Abba,sai Abba’ meaning ” up Abba,up Abba “
However, the uncontrolled die hard supporters ,were seen in a relentless efforts ,to recite Allah Akbar ,Allah Akbar meaning Allah is great ,Allah great.
Alhaji Abubakar Isa of Kofar Mata area told NAN that people of Kano had spoken through massively voting for the NNPP candidates.
We will continue to identify with Gov Yusuf policies and programmes that were gear towards improving the lots of Kano residents.
Kabiru Haladu of Kware market told NAN that people in Kano will resist any attempt to stolen there elected mandate through judiciary.
We voted for Gov Yusuf and all the candidates to ensure good democratic governance.
We are reaping what we voted through good people’s oriented policies and programmes.
Education,health care delivery, provision of modern farming implements sponsoring over 1000 students in foreign universities and payment of registration fees for over 1500 secondary students among others.
