Niger NMDPRA Warns Marketers Over Hoarding of Petrol Product

Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petrolatum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) have warned petrolatum marketers against hoarding of product amidst subsidy removal to cause artificial scarcity in the state.
The Niger State Coordinator of the NMDPRA, Malam Ahmed Emimoru handed down the warning while speaking with newsmen in his office, Minna.
Emimoru disclosed that any filling station found defaulting the order will face the wrath of the law accordingly hence the need to desist from such act of economic sabotage.
He maintained that the federal government policy on subsidy removal most be supported to succeed in order to enhance economic development of the country
The Coordinator reiterated the commitment of the authority by embarking on unscheduled periodic surveillance devoid of compromise to ensure strict compliance.
