Deputy Gov Gwarzo assumes office

Kano , The Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Gwarzo has assumed duties at the Office of the Deputy Governor at Government House Kano .
Mr Gwarzo was received at the Government House, on Wednesday by Permanent Secretary Abdulkadir Adamu Musa and members of staff of the Office and had a brief interaction with the staffers.
Governor Abba Yusuf and Comrade Aminu Gwarzo were sworn-in on Monday at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano , by the state Acting Chief Judge ,Justice Dije Aboki.
Shortly after taking his seat at the office, Gwarzo charged civil servants attached to the office to be punctual and adhere strictly to the rules and regulations while discharging their primary assignment.
He said that the new administration in the state was committed to turning around the fortunes of residents through the implementation of people’s oriented policy and programmes.
The Deputy Governor solicited their maximum support to to achieve the set objectives.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Abdulkadir Adamu Musa, promised to give the deputy Governor all the necessary support towards achieving the desired goals.
“I want to use this opportunity on behalf of the civil servants in this office to provide transparency while conducting our duties ‘.he said.
Also, the state NNPP Chairman, Alhaji Umar Doguwa, appealed to the staff to give the support and cooperation to the present administration to meet the desire political growth the state have been clamouring for.
