Kano, An All Progressive Congress ( APC) chieftain in Kano State , Alhaji Haruna Dan-Zago, has described the incumbent Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Idris Wase as the best candidate to lead the 10 National Assembly.
Dan-Zago told newsmen in Kano on Tuesday that Wase
is a man of integrity who has never been found wanting in all his national life and he is somebody who is focused.
He expressed confidence that Wase, as an astute politician with great legislative prowess, will lead a stable House of Representatives in the tenth Assembly.
He said that Wase has the requisite credentials that can compete favorably with any member from around the country.
” It is a known fact that he has earned the respect of his colleagues due to his leadership style”, he said.
He explained that going by the track records and experience of Wase, he is the best candidate for the office of the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Adding that this was the forth time Wase was winning election to represent his people in the Red Chambers.
” I am appealing to the President Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu , leadership of our party and members elect to ensure Ahmed Idris wase emerged as the speaker of the 10th National Assembly.
” if we make mistake in our party of voting for someone who doesn’t have the experience , we will put ourselves in trouble”,he said.
He said Wasa have attain the highest position in terms of experience and commitment to lead the 10th national assembly.
” Wase is a man who has Nigeria at heart,hence we should not overlooked all these qualities and support someone who doesn’t possessed these qualities”,he concluded.
