
Niger Political Adviser Charges Prayers, Support to Incoming Govt

Special Adviser on political affairs to governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, Alhaji Nma Kolo has appealed to the people to pray for the success of the incoming government of the elected governor Umar Mohammed Bago.
He made the appeal in an interview with newsmen in Minna, saying that the current challenges facing the state which include; paucity of funds, insecurity, decayed infrastructure deserved the prayers of the citizens to succeed.
Nma Kolo disclosed that the out going administration of governor Abubakar Sani Bello has done its best despite challenges like economic down turn, Covid-19 among others.
He described governor Abubakar Sani Bello as a very humble and gentle man, peace loving individual down to earth whom he appreciated for creating environment for his success as his political adviser and the entire administration.
The APC stalwart decried surcharge of the North Central particularly Niger state in times of zoning arrangement at national level despite the votes contributed to the victory of the party in all the presidential election, hence the review for equity, fairness, justice and reward system.
He applauded the initiators of zoning formula which has sustained political peace in Niger state, calling for its sustainability while urging other states of the federation to emulate the principle.
Nma Kolo told the youth in the state to give their maximum support to the incoming administration of Umar Mohammed Bago who is coming up with genuine inclusive, ‘ Project Niger State’ as well agricultural rejuvenation and take off youths from the streets among other programs line up for the state across the sectors of the economy.
