
Niger Gov, Guber Candidates Applauds Peaceful Conduct of Electorates

Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has described the election process for the governorship and state assembly as seamless.
Governor Bello who voted along with his wife Dr. Amina Bello at the Mustapha Alkali Polling Unit, Kontagora, charged on the electorates to come out en mass to vote for the candidates of their choice.
He commended the electorate for peaceful conduct decried over low turning out for the exercise of carrying out their franchise.

Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi has calledon INEC to customize its ballot papers and
boxes in order to differentiate them properly.
Liman Kantigi made this known after casting his vote at his 005 Kantigi polling unit in Edati Local Government Area of the state, commended the peaceful conduct.
Liman-Kantigi advised INEC to adhere strictly to the electronic transmission of election results from the polling units to the commission’s server in order to give credit to the process.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Umar Bago, the APC Governorship candidate for Niger has called on the people of Bida to come out and exercise their franchise.
Bago made the call after he cast his vote at polling unit 011 in Tswashagi Raba, Bida Local Government Area at about 10.10 am, saying that the election was peaceful, transparent, free and fair.

He commended INEC and the officials for the early arrival of electoral materials, describing it as a very good development.
He said that INEC had corrected the lapses witnessed in the past elections saying his accreditation was done within few minutes due to the efficiency of the newly introduced BVAS machine.
