
Niger Gov. Elect Assures to Partner Media for Rapid development

The Niger state Governor- elect, Honourable Umar Mohammed Bago has reiterated his government commitment to partner with the media and welcome its constructive criticism to ensure the development of the state.
Bago gave the assurance when the
members of the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Niger state council led by Comrade Yakubu Mustapha Bina paid a visit to
congratulatory him in Minna
He appreciated the media this far however declared a New Niger State, adding that he needs the media support in executing their policy trust especially the Correspondents Chapel, but should desist from been judgemental rather should listen to government sides.
According to Bago, the Madella market situated along the Zuba – Kaduna Road in Suleja local government of Niger state will soon be moved because it has consistently endangered lives and properties of the citizens.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Niger state council, Comrade Yakubu Mustapha Bina said the Chapel is ready to partner with the new administration for the development of the state.
While congratulating the Governor- elect for the well deserved victory, Comrade Bina assured of objective reportage of government activities to ensure peace and rapid development of Niger state.
