Kano, The Police Service Commission has tasked the Police Academy in Wudil, Kano, to conduct its ongoing admission screening exercise smoothly, adhering to global best practices.
The Chairman of the PSC, DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd), made this known during a visit to the Academy to oversee the screening of candidates for admission.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Head, Press and Public Relations, of the commission Mr Ikechukwu Ani in Kano.
He commended the Commandant, AIG Patrick Atayero, for fostering unity and cooperation among stakeholders and advised the management to benchmark with other global academies.
The PSC Chairman assured that the Commission will continue to support the Academy to ensure it ranks among the best globally.
The Commandant briefed the PSC Chairman on the smooth conduct of the screening exercise.
