The Kano Youth Forum has publicly endorsed the reinstatement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, praising Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his bold decision.
At a press conference held at the NUI Secretariat, the forum urged citizens to remain calm and law-abiding, considering the ongoing court case.
Comrade Know Father Kwaru, the forum’s leader, expressed support for Governor Yusuf’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the state.
He invited citizens to join the forum’s peace advocacy movement, working together to build a harmonious and prosperous society.
Although the reinstatement faces legal challenges, with a Federal High Court granting an order to stop Governor Yusuf from reinstating Emir Sanusi II, the Kano Youth Forum believes the decision aligns with the law, as approved by the Kano State House of Assembly.
The forum views the Kano State Emirate Council Amendment Law (Repeal Bill) 2024 as a victory for the people of Kano.
