Gov.Yusuf Empowers 340 Youth Graduates with Livestock and Gardening Tools

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has empowered 340 youths who recently graduated from the Livestock and Horticulture Institutes.

The graduates received bulls, rams, seedlings, and modern gardening tools to support their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Each graduate received either two bulls or two rams, along with three months’ worth of animal feed. The governor emphasized that this initiative is part of his administration’s efforts to reduce poverty and empower young people in the state.

The program is also focused on promoting food security, which is critical to ensuring the prosperity of Kano State.

The graduates from the Livestock Institute have become critical stakeholders in the pursuit of food security in Kano State and Nigeria at large.

Governor Yusuf encouraged the beneficiaries to collaborate by forming cooperatives and networks that will amplify their impact. He also presented each horticulture graduate with water pumps, sack sprayers, essential gardening tools, and a seed capital of ₦100,000 to support their entrepreneurial endeavors.

This initiative demonstrates the governor’s commitment to youth empowerment and food security. With the support of the state government, these young entrepreneurs are well-equipped to contribute to the economic growth and development of Kano State.
