By Aminu Garko

The Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, has expressed optimism about the party’s chances in the 2027 elections, predicting victories in all 36 states and the presidential election.

Speaking in Kano, Dungurawa revealed that the party has established offices and structures in states and local governments across the federation, positioning itself for success in the upcoming elections.

Dungurawa highlighted the party’s achievements in 2024 and outlined strategies for further growth in 2025.

He praised the governor of Kano State, noting the significant progress made in infrastructure development, empowerment, and human development, which has enabled Kano to compete with modern cities globally.

However, Dungurawa expressed concerns about alleged federal government plans to establish a one-party system, urging the government to focus on implementing policies that alleviate the suffering of the people.

He also debunked rumors about the National Leader of NNPP, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, defecting to the All Progressive Congress, dismissing the claims as mere allegations aimed at tarnishing Kwankwaso’s image.

The NNPP’s confidence in its 2027 prospects is bolstered by its performance in the 2023 elections, where it emerged as one of the strongest parties in Kano State ¹. With its expanding network and strategic planning, the party is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming elections.
