The Kano State Government has announced the start of the first term vacation for all day and boarding public/private primary and post-primary schools in the state.
The vacation will commence on Friday, December 20th, and Saturday, December 21st, 2024. Parents and guardians of boarding school students are required to take their wards home by the early hours of Saturday, December 21st, 2024 ¹.
Boarding school pupils and students will resume on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, while day students will resume on Monday, January 6th, 2025.
Commissioner Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda emphasized the importance of adhering to the resumption dates, warning that disciplinary actions will be taken against defaulting students ¹.
The Ministry of Education appreciates the cooperation and support provided to the ministry and wishes the students and pupils a successful and hitch-free holiday.
