Gov. Yusuf Assures Corps Members of Safety During Service Year

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir-Yusuf, has assured the Batch B Stream 1 corps members of 2024 that his administration will collaborate with security agencies to ensure their safety during their service year.
The Governor, represented by Commissioner for Youths, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, made this promise during the opening ceremony of the Orientation training held at the permanent orientation camp in Kusalla Karaye local government area of Kano State.
The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting the NYSC scheme and providing an enabling environment for corps members to discharge their responsibilities.
He also promised to reward excellent performance during the service year.
NYSC Coordinator in Kano, Hajiya Halima Abubakar, expressed appreciation to stakeholders, collaborating agencies, and camp officials for their contributions to the success of the orientation exercise.
She commended the corps members’ commitment and dedication, predicting a smooth orientation exercise and productive service year.
The ceremony was attended by heads of security agencies in Kano and other stakeholders.
