Kano – June 21, 2026 – Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has condoled with Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan over the death of his wife.
Pakistan is the immediate past Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria and Kano State Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Yusuf described the death as a painful loss to Pakistan’s family and the wider Islamic community.
He said the deceased lived a life of piety, humility and compassion, and noted that her passing had created a vacuum for those who benefited from her kindness and counsel.
Yusuf urged the family to take solace in Islam’s teachings on patience and submission to Allah’s will. He prayed for Allah’s forgiveness for the deceased and for strength for the bereaved family.
