Abuja – July 8, 2026 – Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated Hon. Shuaibu Rabiu Gano on his swearing-in as member representing Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Wednesday.
The governor described Gano’s inauguration as a well-deserved mandate to serve the people with dedication and integrity.
Representing the governor at the swearing-in ceremony at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Jibril Isma’il Falgore, conveyed the congratulatory message.
Falgore urged the new federal lawmaker to provide quality representation, sponsor people-oriented legislation and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Governor Yusuf also charged Gano to remain a good ambassador of youthful representation for Kano State at the National Assembly, and to discharge his responsibilities with integrity, humility, patriotism and commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
The swearing-in was conducted by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and was witnessed by members of the Kano State House of Assembly and other party officials.
