PSC WARNS AGAINST CROWD RENTING AT ITS HQ

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has warned against crowd renting and protests at its corporate headquarters in Jabi, Abuja, insisting that aggrieved parties must follow due process.
The Commission’s Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu (rtd), stated this after a group of people, allegedly rented, besieged its headquarters to demand a Special Investigation Panel over a case involving some police officers in Plateau State.
The PSC noted that while it will ensure police officers are held accountable for their actions, it will not succumb to crowd renting and demonstrations.
The Commission has directed the affected police officers to respond to the allegations and assured that justice will be served.
