Kano Signage Agency Targets N1.5bn Revenue Before Year End”

The Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KASA) is targeting N1.5 billion in revenue from September to December 2025.
According to KASA’s Director-General, Mr. Kabir Dakata, the agency has mapped out strategies to achieve this target through effective regulation of billboards, posters, street signage, and branded vehicles across the state.
Our target revenue Target:N1.5 billion (2025), N3 billion (2026), and N5 billion (2027).
He explained that the agency’s Mandate is to regulate and control billboards, posters, street signage, branded vehicles, roadshows, tricycles, delivery riders, and advertisements on shops or private premises.
Generate revenue and sanitize the state’s physical environment in line with global best practices
and centralized Billing System under the Kano Internal Revenue Service to block leakages
Dakata urged stakeholders to comply with the law, noting that they had contributed to its drafting and were familiar with similar regulations in other states.
He emphasized that Kano, as the commercial hub of the North, could harness the advertising sector for revenue generation and development.
