Kano, Gov.Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State had received various awards conferred on him by different organizations in recognition of his administration’s transformational drive at the commencement of the 30th Executive Council meeting at the governor’s lodge in Kwankwasiyya city.
Gov.Yusuf received the awards before the commencement of the 30th Executive Council Meeting held at Kwankwasiyya City centre on Wednesday.
The awards include Great Achiever 2025 conferred by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources for open defecation free Kano and presented by the Deputy Governor, Aminu Gwarzo, award by MIA International School on the governor’s strides in education.
Others are Governor of the Year 2025 in Infrastructure Development at the 15th African Achievers Award that was presented by the Special Adviser on State Affairs Alhaji Usman Bala Muhammad and Governor of the Year 2025 in Education by Blueprint Newspapers the governor’s Technical Adviser on Education Reforms Dr. Haladu Mohammed.
Infrastructure Development Commendation Award at the 19th African International African Show(AIHS) that was presented by the Commissioner of Housing Development, Architect Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu.
A visibly elated Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude to the awarding organizations for recognizing his administration’s efforts to improve the lives of Kano’s citizens.
He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to striving for excellence, delivering quality services, and promoting prosperity and socioeconomic development in the state.
