The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation (KSHC), Alhaji Abdullahi Rabiu, has reaffirmed the Corporation’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Kano State House of Assembly Committee on Housing. This was stated during a working visit by the Committee to the KSHC office.
Alhaji Rabiu appreciated the Committee’s oversight role and pledged to collaborate closely with the legislature to advance housing development in the state. He described the visit as timely, fostering working synergy and collaboration between the two arms of government.
The Chairman of the House of Assembly Committee on Housing, Hon. Mudassir Ibrahim Zawaciki, explained that the visit aimed to enhance collaboration and oversight in the housing sector. The Committee sought to familiarize itself with the Corporation’s operations, challenges, and initiatives to improve housing delivery in Kano State.
Key discussion points included ongoing projects, policy implementation, and strategies for addressing housing challenges. The Committee expressed commitment to supporting the Corporation’s efforts to provide affordable housing for Kano residents.
The Committee members commended the Corporation’s management for their warm reception and generosity.
