Yusuf inspects pilgrims’ kitchen in Makka, expresses satisfaction

Makka ( Saudi Arabia) Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has expressed satisfaction with the operational standards at the central kitchen for pilgrims in Makka, Saudi Arabia.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Yusuf spoke after reviewing the quality, hygiene, and coordination of meals served to pilgrims under the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
This was ahead of their departure to Mina for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
Yusuf symbolically scooped a portion of food to inspect its consistency, ensuring nutritional standards were met.
He reviewed the assortment of fruits and refreshments, including apples, citrus fruits, and bottled water, essential for hydration in the Saudi climate.
“Our pilgrims deserve the best. What they eat affects their health and strength them for the Hajj rites.
“I am impressed by the commitment and professionalism I have seen here”, he said.
Yusuf commended the staff for maintaining cleanliness, quality, and discipline in service delivery.
“This inspection is about accountability and welfare,” the governor stated.
“Our pilgrims deserve the best. What they eat affects their health and strength for the Hajj rites.
” I am impressed by the commitment and professionalism I have seen here.”he said.
The governor commended Na’ima Idris Kitchen, the contracted catering company, for their commitment, while cautioning against complacency.
“This is a sacred responsibility, and we trust you to uphold it. We cannot afford lapses in food quality or safety, especially during this critical phase of the Hajj,’ he emphasized.”
Responding on behalf of the kitchen management, Na’ima Idris Kitchen expressed gratitude for the governor’s visit and gave assurance of continued commitment.
“We are honored by your confidence in us, I assure you, we will not disappoint,” he said
