The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has described the speculated impending defection of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to the party as a welcome development.
Abbas made the statement while addressing a press conference at the party’s headquarters along Maiduguri Road, Kano, on Friday.
Dungurawa stated that Kwankwaso does not need to consult anyone before making any political decision, but emphasized that there are no plans for defection.
“We have no business with APC, and do not have any intention to defect,” Dungurawa said, dismissing the rumors as mere mischief.
He described the APC’s claims as baseless and motivated by desperation.
Dungurawa attributed the APC’s actions to their knowledge of the damage they caused during their time in power.
