Mourns

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed shock and sadness over the passing of renowned Islamic scholar and industrialist, Alhaji Nasiru Ahali, who died on Thursday night at the age of 108 years.
In a statement, issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Dawakin Tofa in Kano on Friday.
Governor Yusuf’s described Alhaji Ahali’s death as a tremendous loss, not only to his family but also to the state, nation, and the entire Muslim community.
Governor Yusuf praised the deceased as a pioneer in establishing industries and formal businesses in Kano, playing a vital role in shaping the state’s economy and promoting the growth of large and small-scale industries.
On behalf of the government and people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying to Almighty Allah to grant Alhaji Ahali’s soul eternal peace and paradise (Aljannatul Firdausi)
