Mr Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Director General of Media and Publicity for the Kano Government, emphasized the importance of unity among Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s media and political aides.
He made this call during a three-day workshop themed “Training On Media And Politics: The Role of Internet on Democratic Values and Ethics in Digital Journalism” held at the Kano School Of Management Studies.
Dawakin Tofa stressed that unity is crucial for presenting a united front and communicating a singular message.
He reminded the aides that their responsibility goes beyond informing, but also inspiring and engaging in meaningful conversations that elevate governance and public policy discourse.
The workshop, organized by Arewa Scholars Educational Consultant and sponsored by the Office of the Director General, Media and Publicity, aimed to reinforce collective commitment to the principles guiding media and governance.
Dawakin Tofa encouraged participants to embrace teamwork and innovation, acknowledging the facilitators, including Prof. Sule Yau Sule, Prof. Mainasara Kurfi, and Alhaji Aminu Hamza.
