Yusuf commends Executive Council members for dedication, commitment

Kano, Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State on Wednesday expressed gratitude to members of the State Executive Council (SEC) for their dedication and commitment to achieving the administration’s goals.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Yusuf made the commendation during the (SEC) meeting in Kano.
Yusuf highlighted significant progress made since the inception of his administration to include payment of pension arrears.
“We’ve made notable strides so far, and we’re battle ready to drive the implementation of people-centric policies and programmes that prioritise the welfare of our citizens, regardless of party affiliations,” he said.
He said that there was also the allocation of N5 billion for the payment of gratuities.
“We undertook the distribution of school uniforms and instructional materials, as well as provision of transportation for the girl child across the state.
“There is also the installation of street lights in metropolitan local government areas and completion of five-kilometer roads in some local government areas”, he said.
These projects, according to him, demonstrate the administration’s commitment to enhancing citizens’ lives and providing beneficial projects.
“These projects aim to improve infrastructure, enhance citizens’ lives, and demonstrate the administration’s commitment to providing beneficial projects,’’ he said.
Yusuf also commended members of the Tijjaniya Sect for conducting a peaceful national prayer session in Kano.
