Kano, Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has decorated his Aide-De-Camp (ADC), Sanusi Abubakar, and Escort Commander, Rabiu Shitu, with new ranks of Superintendent of Police (SP).
The ceremony took place at the Government House, with Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Dogo Salman, in attendance.
This was contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson Sunusi Dawakin Tofa in Kano on Friday.
Prior to their promotion, both officers held the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Governor Yusuf praised their diligence and commitment, urging them to redouble their efforts in protecting life and property.
He reminded the newly promoted officers that their new rank comes with additional responsibilities.
Sanusi Abubakar, the ADC, expressed his gratitude, pledging to rededicate his efforts and renew his loyalty to the service of the nation.
This development is a testament to Governor Yusuf’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding excellence in public service.
