By Aminu Garko

Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II has urged Kano residents to remain peaceful and avoid violence, despite the recent sealing of his palace by armed security personnel.

In his Friday sermon at the Emirates Jummaat Mosque, the Emir warned against falling into the traps of those who seek to cause chaos and destruction in Kano.

He emphasized the importance of patience and peaceful coexistence, citing Islamic teachings that promote patience and self-control, even in the face of adversity.

The Emir assured his supporters that with patience, he will emerge victorious from the current challenges facing his throne.

It’s worth noting that this is not the first time the Emir has spoken out against violence.

His message of peace and patience is consistent with the values of Islam and the traditions of the Emirate of Kano.

Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim, recently warned ward and village heads against political violence, emphasizing the need for peaceful coexistence.
